Day 2, 3 and 4
So I have not posted since my 1st day and everything has gone great. Every time I felt the want to have something that I was not allowed, lots of cheese mostly, I just thought of my before pictures and how much I do not want to be that person any more. Your want to change has to be stranger than your will power. Motivation and support system are key. My husband is behind me 110% and that helps so much. If I did not have a good support system than I am not sure what I would do.
Eating has been going great. I have not been starving and when ever I feel like I do need something I have allowed myself enough containers so that I stay on track. My favorite snack right now is cottage cheese and grapes. It's good protein and helps curb my need for something sweet as well.
I have the hardest time getting in all my veggies because I am allowed 4 greens a day so I need to adjust that a bit.
My workouts have also gone well. My son who is 1 was my workout buddy on Saturday and Sunday, he ate breakfast while I got my workout on. He was so curious and just stared at me like "what are you doing crazy lady?" He is also a great motivator. He thought my weights were pretty fun to play with until he hurt himself. It was pretty damn cute watching him pick up a 5 pound weight.
So until next time! If you have any questions or things I should maybe be starting about in the blog about the 21 Day Fix just shoot me a comment.

Day One
Day One
To start I just want to give a quick overview of what the 21 Day Fix entails.
First off it is just what the title states, 21 days. In those 21 days, Autumn Calabrese, the wonder trainer that you envy from day one, will whip you into shape with her positive quotes for each workout and her motivation through out the entire 30 minutes.
The program also includes a meal plan. You receive 7 color coded containers, each color represents a food category, there is a list of food for each category and it really is as easy as sticking to those foods and amount your allowed eat each day.
So I started today with my first workout and first full day of the eating plan. The workout went well, it was not overly intense where I felt like I couldn't complete a certain move and not too easy where I didn't think my muscles were worked hard enough.
As far as the meals they went well. I did not feel like I was starving myself in fact my lunch was quite large, colorful and yummy.
Don't mind the plate, I was at work. That's Meatballs, mixed veggies and sweet potatoes.
Breakfast was a banana and baked oatmeal and dinner was pork chop, whole wheat pasta with some cheese and veggies, I also had a snack of cottage cheese and grapes. The meals don't have to be fancy and they do not have to be boring either. You make or break this program. It takes will power and motivation to want to change yourself and this is not just a diet this is a life change. I am in this for the long all.
I did take my measurements, weight myself and took before pictures today. Due to sheer embarrassment I will not be posting my before pictures until my 21 days are over. That is all for today.

Me!
Welcome to my blog!
My name is Lisa, I am 31 years old and I have been married to my amazing husband for 5 years and last January we had our first child. I gained 60 pounds during my pregnancy which was about double what my doctor recommended. Needless to say I ate everything! Cookies, cake, pizza, chips, cheese you name it I ate it and my excuse was, "I am pregnant I can eat what I want and when the baby comes it will just melt right off" haha RIGHT! That was a big fat lie I told to myself to justify eating all the crap I did. So after getting home from the hospital with our new baby I still had extra weight to lose. Again I was still lying to myself and said, "I am breast feeding it will melt right off" HAHA wrong again Lisa! So fast forward to now, one year later, I am still trying to loose my excess baby weight. I could try and give you every excuse in the book about how I am too busy as a new working mom to work out and eat right but it would just be that, an excuse.
I have stopped and started my workout programs about 10 different times and have given up every time for one reason or another. This time is different! I am sick and tired of the way I look and feel I am DONE!
I will be starting Beachbody's 21 Day Fix tomorrow January 22nd, 2016.
I will post my starting weight and measurements and what my eating will include in the morning. So please stay tuned as I will give updates along the way.
My goal is to get down to my pre-baby weight of 155 and to fit into my clothes that have been sitting in my closet and drawers for over a year.
So stay tuned for pictures and updates! If you have questions please don't hesitated to ask.
